Diana Tordoff, PhD, MPH is an Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University and affiliated researcher with The PRIDE Study. Dr. Tordoff completed her PhD and MPH in Epidemiology and received a BA with honors in Mathematics from Vassar College. Dr. Tordoff has over ten years of experience working with and within LGBTQ+ communities. She has been the PI on several NIH funded studies on the sexual health of transgender populations. Dr. Tordoff is currently funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease to investigate the impact of testosterone gender affirming hormone therapy on the gynecological health of transmasculine people. Her research interests include:
- Queer and transgender health equity;
- Sexual and reproductive health;
- Vaginal microbiome, phylogenetics, and molecular epidemiology;
- Intersectionality; and,
- Community-engaged research methods.
